A rua não acabou, nós paramos de olhar para ela.
A rua segue viva pulsando nos cantos do Brasil, nos campinhos de terra, nas traves improvisadas, no gol feito de chinelo. Dizer que ela deixou de existir talvez seja mais confortável do que admitir que paramos de oportunizar: nós paramos de olhar para ela.
Trabalho no INSTITUTO FUTEBOL DE RUA e tenho a oportunidade de visitar diferentes e inúmeras cidades do nosso país, e em todas elas encontramos o mesmo cenário. As brincadeiras continuam acontecendo, “o ambiente da rua”, o jogo continua sendo criado. A bola continua rolando mesmo sem uniforme, sem estrutura e, muitas vezes, sem adulto por perto.
A rua ainda ensina.
Ensina a decidir;
Ensina a lidar com o diferente;
Ensina a negociar regras;
Ensina a perder, ganhar e continuar jogando.
dentre outros aprendizados.
Foi nesse ambiente que muitos dos grandes jogadores da nossa história foram formados. Não apenas tecnicamente, mas na sua essência como jogadores criativos, imprevisíveis e humanos. Mas, enquanto a rua resiste, o futebol parece ter seguido outro caminho.
Hoje, apenas uma parcela menor dos jovens inicia sua relação com o jogo nesses espaços. A maioria está nas escolinhas, nos projetos, nos ambientes formais. Isso não é, por si só, um problema. O problema está no afastamento simbólico que construímos, estrutural e metodológico.
Criamos uma bolha.
Uma bolha onde o acesso depende de condições financeiras.
Onde o deslocamento até o treino já é um filtro. Onde o uniforme, a mensalidade e a estrutura se tornam portas de entrada onde brincar não é considerado, muito menos praticado ou estimulado.
E, dentro dessa bolha, passamos a olhar pouco. Olha-se para o resultado imediato.
Para o tamanho.
Para a força.
Para quem está pronto agora.
Seleciona-se cedo.
Descarta-se rápido.
Enquanto isso, fora desse sistema, milhões de meninos seguem interagindo, brincando e se desenvolvendo sem oportunidades.
Aproximadamente 99% de uma geração inteira que o futebol simplesmente não enxerga, meninos que vivem o jogo todos os dias, mas que dificilmente terão a oportunidade de vestir a camisa de um grande clube.
Quantos deles poderiam? Qual o melhor momento para oportunizar? Que momento o DEPARTAMENTO CAPTAÇÃO E PROSPECÇÃO poderia ser efetivo?
Essa é uma pergunta que o futebol precisa ter coragem de fazer.
E, ao mesmo tempo, algo curioso vem acontecendo.
Enquanto nós, aqui dentro do País, passamos a buscar referências fora importando modelos, metodologias e formas de organizar o jogo, grupos internacionais têm feito o caminho inverso.
O City Football Group e a Red Bull, entre outros, têm investido no futebol brasileiro e em mercados semelhantes. Não apenas para implementar suas estruturas, mas para acessar algo que ainda é abundante por aqui: a rua, a
ginga, o modo brasileiro de jogar futebol.
E esse modo, historicamente, nasce onde?
Na rua.
Existe, então, uma contradição evidente. O mundo olha para o Brasil em busca daquilo que sempre nos caracterizou: a criatividade, a improvisação, a relação espontânea com o jogo, a ginga, a alegria e a ousadia.
E nós, por vezes, deixamos de valorizar exatamente isso.
Não se trata de negar a evolução do futebol, nem de rejeitar o conhecimento que vem de fora. O jogo mudou, e é fundamental acompanhar esse movimento. Mas evoluir não pode significar esquecer a própria identidade. O risco não está em aprender com o mundo e deixar de compartilhar o que somos, ele está em deixar de reconhecer o que o mundo vem aprender conosco.
A rua não é romantismo, ela é um ambiente de aprendizagem complexo, rico e profundamente formador, onde há riscos, mas o equilíbrio destas competências existentes na rua é potente. Um espaço onde o jogo se apresenta em sua forma mais livre, rica em diversidade e, por isso mesmo, mais desafiadora. Ignorá-la não é apenas perder uma referência cultural.
É, possivelmente, deixar de enxergar “potenciais”. Deixar de compreender processos. Deixar de formar melhor. Talvez a rua não tenha acabado, talvez o que esteja acabando seja a nossa capacidade de olhar para ela com atenção, respeito e intenção, estudando uma forma de torná-la possível aos esquecidos pelo futebol da bolha.
E se isso for verdade, a pergunta que fica não é apenas sobre quantos jogadores estamos formando… mas sobre quantos estamos deixando de formar sem nem perceber.
E isso hoje é o meu propósito, é pelos 99,999% que a bolha não oportuniza.
