Tudo com base no resultado. Nunca no processo. Infelizmente. Se quem faz diferente ganha, é gênio; se perde, é ‘professor pardal’. Fernando Diniz está tendo um início arrasador no Corinthians. Todos estão encantados com o trabalho. Mas sabemos que isso é consequência das vitórias iniciais.
É claro que Diniz está acostumado com isso. Ele foi jogador. E de alto nível. Conhece o meio há décadas. Como treinador, quando o Brasil o conheceu há dez anos, com o revolucionário Audax, a lápide já estava pré-escrita pelos críticos: jogar desse jeito (diferente) é fácil em um time como o Audax. Quero ver fazer isso em clube grande’, diziam. E Diniz está fazendo a mesma coisa, claro, se adaptando, ajustando, entendendo cada circunstância, porém sempre com a mesma ideia mestra.
Fez isso no São Paulo, Athlético-PR, Vasco, Fluminense, Santos, etc. E aqui não se trata de jogo ofensivo ou defensivo. O meu ponto é identificar o trabalho de um treinador sem precisar olhar o uniforme: apenas observando os padrões de comportamento da equipe saber que ela é treinada por determinado profissional.
Isso é identidade. Isso é convicção. Ganhando ou perdendo, não se joga tudo pro alto de acordo com a maré. Que os mesmos que aplaudem hoje Fernando Diniz no Corinthians o deem apoio quando as derrotas acontecerem – e elas acontecerão, faz parte. O foco tem que ser no processo. E não só no resultado. Para fugirmos do famigerado, ‘ganhou é bom, perdeu não serve’.
